“Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman worthy of his hire, rightly dividing the word of truth.” – 2 Timothy 2:15

There are various places to start looking at Christianity as a pilgrim path.

Our original focus of study was the very earliest Celtic and Jewish (or ‘Messianic’) expressions of Christianity, starting with:

– The Jerusalem Council

– The Didache

– Weekly Torah portions

– Various forms of set prayer, including the Jewish Siddur

But this is no longer required reading in year 1 – you can start your reading journey wherever you feel most comfortable.

We are currently working on a booklist on progressive Christianity and coming out if/ recovering from Fundamentalist teaching.

Our full list of book recommendations may be found at our Amazon a-store.

If you have previously undertaken a similar course of study, or your interests lie in other areas, but you still feel called to the Celtic Order, please contact us for alternatives.
