Full members of religious orders are officially known as ‘Oblates’, that is, sacrifices to God.
In a sense, every Christian is called to offer themselves as a sacrifice.
Full members of the Celtic Order continue the pursuit of Consecration to God and Service to Fellow Man by means of the Disciplines, the Weightier Matters of the Law and the Offices of Melchizedek.
The focus of study as full members is open for you to choose, although you may seek advice from your Anam Chara, your peers or other Members. We have a list of topics to help you in that regard – if you haven’t received it with your Membership Certificate and Orders, please ask us.
You are also encouraged to offer yourself as an Anam Chara to new Candidates or Trainees, either locally or virtually, if you are not already acting in that capacity.
