When we consider the picture
Of Sheep and Shepherds
We realise that, if we are sheep
We are clever sheep who can help each other
And we question whether our Shepherds can be trusted
But we are not sheep
We are people
May we lead each other to Green Pastures
As we abandon the ‘rod and staff’
And may we pursue goodness and mercy, for as long as we live.
